Chapter 1 In Which the High School Orientation Begins
The Warrior Academy's teacher lounge looked more like a library then a lounge. A massive room with a vaulted ceiling, it looked like a personal library from an old mansion with a few notable modern twists. The room had dark hardwood floors, with cocoa-brown walls that are hidden by floor-to-ceiling bookcases on all but one of the four walls. Sabrina sat down at her desk and sighed heavily. The papers stacked messily on the left corner of the table, the frustratingly slow computer, the bookcases full of text books for her to study when she could... It all felt uncomfortable.
Only a year beforehand, she had genuinely wanted to open a school for Camp Warrior. She had been determined to overcome any difficulties that would likely present themselves - nothing could stop her from keeping Warrior Academy a good school for the campers. She would give them their education within the safety of Camp Warrior's grounds. She wouldn't be deterred.
